PETALING JAYA: Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia (Bersatu) has postponed the nomination day for its branches and divisions, which was supposed to be held on Monday (Jan 13) to address complaints from party grassroots.
A source said this was decided on Sunday by the Bersatu supreme council and a circular dated Jan 12 was issued to all leaders and members to inform of the postponement to Jan 26.
However, there will be no change in the Bersatu annual general meeting, which is scheduled to be held from June 26 to June 28. The circular, sighted by The Star, was signed by Bersatu secretary-general and Deputy Foreign Minister Datuk Marzuki Yahya.
