Wes Anderson may have just released Asteroid City into theaters, but the iconic director is already preparing for his next film.
“My next feature film will be linear, with Benicio del Toro in every shot,” said Anderson. “I can’t tell you much more than that except that it will be about espionage, a father-daughter relationship, and, let’s say, with a rather dark tone.”
Anderson and del Toro have a brief history of working together, with the actor having starred in Anderson’s last film,, in one of the anthology’s stories. In the film, del Toro played Moses Rosentahler, an artist that’s imprisoned and strikes up a romance with guard Simone .
