DR Wan Azizah Wan Ismail berkata belum ada keperluan untuk menghalang pelancong dari China memasuki negara ini susulan penularan Covid-19, sebaliknya akan memperketatkan saringan kesihatan terhadap mereka yang pulang atau tiba dari negara itu. Timbalan perdana menteri berkata kerajaan juga tidak berhasrat untuk menyekat kemasukan rakyat Singapura walaupun terdapat kes sporadik serta jangkitan individu kepada individu yang lain di republik itu.
