Fire officials have deemed a beloved San Antonio Tex-Mex restaurant a “total loss” after an early morning blaze broke out Thursday.
Complexities in the building structure created difficulties for firefighters to access the fire in the attic. The fire breached the roof and the firefighters inside were ordered out of the building, Woodward said. Woodward said the fire is still actively burning and the building has sustained heavy damage. As of 9:30 a.m., the SAFD fire investigator deemed the building a total loss.
