Bekas CEO syarikat air Johor didakwa tipu RM3.38 juta

KUALA LUMPUR: Bekas Ketua Pegawai Eksekutif sebuah syarikat pengendali air di Johor didakwa di Mahkamah Sesyen di sini hari ini bagi dua pertuduhan menipu syarikat berkenaan RM3.38 juta, dua tahun lalu.

Perbuatan itu mendorong syarikat berkenaan membuat pembayaran sebanyak RM82,500 sedangkan program berkenaan tidak dilaksanakan. Kedua-dua transaksi pembayaran itu dimasukkan ke dalam akaun bank milik Pertubuhan Inspirasi Prihatin Malaysia pada 13 dan 14 April 2023 di Menara Felda Platinum Park di sini.

Bagaimanapun, peguam bela, S. Preakas yang mewakili tertuduh memohon pengurangan jumlah jaminan dengan alasan anak guamnya kini menganggur dan perlu menanggung keluarga.
