Boys basketball: Hitchcock punches ticket to state; Washington falls short

Both teams would battle back and forth, but Yates took control of the game hitting big shot after big shot for United.“He has done that all year,” said Green of Yates. “You want the ball in his hand becomes he makes things happen and he did it in the last game that we played making big shots. We told him we were going to give him the ball and to go make it happen. He did that.”“They locked in on things that we were doing,” said Egans on United in the second half.
