BBC One has suspended its regular programming until 6pm following news that medics are concerned for the Queen's health.
A BBC News Special will instead run until 6pm on Thursday - when the six o'clock news is due to start. Some have taken to Twitter to point out that Huw Edwards is presenting the news special in a black tie. It follows an announcement from Buckingham Palace today stating Her Majesty's doctors have recommended she remain under medical supervision. A statement from the palace said: "Following further evaluation this morning, The Queen’s doctors are concerned for Her Majesty’s health and have recommended she remain under medical supervision.

The Queen's four children - Prince Charles, Prince Andrew, Princess Anne and Prince Edward - are all said to be with the Queen at Balmoral Castle. The Duke of Cambridge is currently travelling to Balmoral while the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are also on their way.
