Freedom’s Trent Keys had a home run and a double to lead the Freedom Falcons to victories over Moreau Catholic and San Leandro.

Freedom baseball player Trent Keys is the Bay Area News Group’s boys high school athlete of the week for Feb. 21-27 after receiving 44.71% of the vote at the 5 p.m. deadline Wednesday.

Menlo-Atherton basketball player Jalen Williams finished second and Campolindo basketball player Justin Yasukochi took third.Keys led Freedom to victories over Moreau Catholic and San Leandro to open the season.
