After more than five decades of serving juicy steaks alongside loaded oven-baked potatoes, the Cattlemens Steakhouse in Santa Rosa is preparing to close its doors. Cattlemens is expected to shutter sometime at the end of the year after a 53-year tenure at Santa Rosa’s Montgomery Village, as first reported by. According to a news release shared with SFGATE, Cattlemens was unable to renew its lease at 2400 Midway Drive.
“Although we have been committed to the community surrounding Montgomery Village for over 50 years, mutual agreement on the terms for a new Lease could not be reached,” Cattlemens president Peter Mrozik said in the statement.
