Proteas limited-overs captain Temba Bavuma sees the SA20 as a life-changing opportunity for SA players looking to make a name for themselves in T20 cricket. | Sport24news

ees the SA20 as a life-changing opportunity for South African players looking to make a name for themselves in T20 cricket.

Proteas limited-overs captain Temba Bavuma believes the SA20 will provide a platform for South African players to share knowledge and skills with some of the world's best coaches and players. Bavuma says that the SA20 could potentially see South Africa's young talent burst onto the lucrative IPL. "For the young players, the SA20 will become a platform for them to develop their skills. We can see what the IPL has done for Indian cricket and their young guys, they come in and play with confidence and no fear," he continued.

Bavuma has recovered from his elbow injury, which kept him out of the Proteas' ongoing series against England and is looking forward to getting match ready to lead South Africa at next month's ICC T20 World Cup.
