Proteas captain Temba Bavuma will return to South Africa and miss the Cricket World Cup warm-ups this week.

Bavuma is set to travel back home on Thursday due to family reasons and will subsequently miss the Proteas build-up for the global showpiece.Bavuma will miss the two World Cup warm-up matches against Afghanistan on Friday and New Zealand on Monday.Bavuma is, however, expected to be back for the Proteas when they get their World Cup campaign under way on Saturday, 7 October, against Sri Lanka at Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi.
