A message on Rozan’s Facebook page said that he had been detained on Friday (Oct 14) during a 'campaign to check the polling areas'.
Former PKR vice-president Tian Chua, when contacted, said Rozan was bailed out at the Sentul police headquarters around 12.30pm.
In a statement released by Sentul OCPD Asst Comm Beh Eng Lai earlier on Saturday, he said that the police had received information about a man giving a public speech using a loudspeaker by the road and blocking traffic at 5.45pm."Acting on the information, the police rushed to the scene and found that a local man was holding a stick tied with a political party flag and holding a loudspeaker unit campaigning for GE15.
"After explaining the rights to arrest and search, the police advised the individual to leave, but he refused and again acted provocatively by disputing the complainant's rights as a member of the police.
