KUALA LUMPUR: The ringgit eased against the US dollar at the close today amid cautious sentiment ahead of the United States (US) presidential election next week, said an analyst.

He said Batu Kawa is one of the areas in and around the state capital identified for urban development. "These are three areas where we are focusing on for urban development," he said during the opening of the Ang Cheng Ho Quarry multipurpose hall on Monday . He added that there are also plans to build new roads for better traffic flow, and a new autonomous rapid transit line will be extended to Batu Kawa in the future.
