PETALING JAYA: Two people have been found dead dead in the landslide that hit a campsite at Father's Organic Farm in Batang Kali early Friday (Dec 16).
We have rescued 23 people and three were injured."Search and rescue efforts are still ongoing by the Fire and Rescue Department, aided by other agencies including the police, Civil Defence Force, Health Department and the Special Malaysia Disaster Assistance and Rescue Team ," the Selangor Fire and Rescue Department said in a Facebook post on Friday.
The department said that they received an emergency call at 2.24am on the landslide at the farm in Jalan Genting, Batang Kali."The incident took place along a road near the farm and hit the campsite.Bernama also reported police confirming that the two deceased comprise a woman and a boy.
