Bylone directed St. Augustine to a pair of state championships
St. Augustine faced Delbarton in three straight Non-Public A state finals - 2017, 2018 and 2019. Each game was decided by one run.
During his run, Bylone had three players taken in the MLB Draft directly out of St. Augustine. In 2014, right-hander Joe Gatto was taken in the second round by the Los Angeles Angels and lefty Zach Warren was picked in the 23rd round by the Pittsburgh Pirates. In 2019, righty Jayson Hoopes was selected by the Chicago Cubs in the 36th round.
