KOTA KINABALU: The Sabah government is only going to grow stronger and more stable with Barisan Nasional expressing its support, says Chief Minister Datuk Seri Hajiji Noor.
Hajiji said the statement by Barisan secretary-general Dr Zambry Abd Kadir that the coalition is in support of the state government was good.
On Sunday , Zamry had issued a statement backing the Hajiiji-led state government and also announced that Sabah Umno deputy chairman Datuk Yakubah Khan will liaise with the state government in its development agenda, among other matters. "That is the main purpose for leaders and politicians. We need to focus on unity and development to boost economic activities for the betterment of the people and their livelihood," he said.
