Barisan and Pakatan a potent combo, says Amanah leader

JOHOR BARU: The combined votes of Barisan Nasional and Pakatan Harapan can ensure a comfortable win for the unity government in the coming six state elections, says Amanah’s Datuk Seri Salahuddin Ayub.

The party’s deputy president said Barisan and Pakatan members have shown good cooperation and he hoped that this would translate into a huge number of votes.

He was asked to comment on Umno supreme council member Datuk Seri Ahmad Maslan’s statement asking party supporters to cast their votes for DAP candidates in the six state elections. “It has been the norm even during the previous coalition that party members would heed the call of their leaders and cast their votes for the coalition’s candidates,” Salahuddin said.
