Penduduk di Kampung Pulau Mentimun, Sungai Siput di bawah daerah Kuala Kangsar di sini menyifatkan banjir yang melanda kampung itu terburuk selepas banjir tahun 2014.
SUNGAI SIPUT:
Lain-lain daerah mencatat mangsa banjir ialah Muallim seramai 334 mangsa di tiga PPS, Kerian 111 mangsa di dua PPS dan Hulu Perak seramai 172 mangsa di enam PPS menjadikan keseluruhan mangsa banjir di Perak kepada 1,195 orang setakat pukul 2 petang. Seorang penduduk, Salehuddin berusia 62 tahun yang menumpang di sebuah rumah penduduk kampung, menyifatkan kejadian banjir kali ini antara yang terburuk sejak banjir besar pada tahun 2014.
Hasil tinjauan juga, ada penduduk yang enggan pergi ke PPS kerana mendapatkan perlindungan di rumah berdekatan yang selamat dan bagi mereka ia mudah untuk kembali ke rumah masing-masing apabila air sedikit surut.
