KOTA KINABALU: The Gabungan Rakyat Sabah (GRS) led state government is working towards resolving the ongoing water and electricity problems severely affecting the state, says Datuk Joniston Bangkuai.
The GRS information chief said steps are being taken to manage and resolve the problems with the long-standing issues over the two utility outfits.
“The opposition’s swift finger-pointing and attempts to lay the blame solely on the Chief Minister are political in nature. They, too, had previously led the state, and they are well familiar with the challenges. Bangkuai said the recent commitment by Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim to help in resolving Sabah’s water supply issue reflects the Federal Government’s positive stance towards Hajiji’s leadership.
Hajiji’s astute decision-making, commitment to inclusive governance and focus on driving Sabah’s economic growth have garnered support, Bangkuai added.
