Bangkok berisiko tenggelam, cadang pindah ibu negara
BANGKOK: Thailand berkemungkinan perlu mempertimbangkan langkah memindahkan ibu negara dari Bangkok disebabkan paras air laut yang semakin meningkat.
Jelasnya, unjuran secara konsisten menunjukkan Bangkok yang merupakan kawasan rendah berdekatan laut, berisiko ditenggelamkan lautan sebelum hujung abad ini. Beliau berkata, Kerajaan Bangkok sedang meneroka pelbagai langkah seperti membina benteng bagi membendung air, sebagaimana yang digunakan di Belanda.
