Langkah itu adalah inisiatif Persatuan Badminton Malaysia yang menyaksikan pemain akan menjalani rutin latihan seperti biasa, namun pergerakan terhad hanya di kawasan ABM dan Stadium Juara di Bukit Kiara.
"Kalau pemain kita ada temu janji dengan doktor di ISN mereka dibenarkan pergi dan ini adalah soal pemain bergerak antara lokasi A ke B dan bukannya mereka bebas pergi makan atau ke mana sahaja.BAM turut memperketatkan laluan keluar masuk di ABM apabila mengasingkan laluan pemain dan pekerja sokongan ABM.
