Baker Mayfield improved to 2-0 as the starting quarterback of the Buccaneers on Sunday by beating the Bears.
Mayfield leaned heavily on Evans, who had six catches for 171 yards and the TD. He also caught a 70-yard pass from Mayfield.
The Buccaneers picked off Bears quarterback Justin Fields twice, one of which was taken four yards for a touchdown by Shaquil Barrett to help seal the game in the final two minutes. Mayfield has thrown three TD passes and no interceptions in his first two games with Tampa Bay.
