PETALING JAYA: Beijing Automotive Group (BAIC), salah satu pengeluar kereta terkemuka China menyasarkan untuk membuka 10 cawangan pengedar di seluruh negara pada tahun ini dengan yang pertama dikendalikan oleh Edaran Otomobil Elektrik (M) Sdn. Bhd. (EOE).

“BAIC mempunyai kepakaran dalam memenuhi permintaan yang semakin meningkat untuk kualiti, tenaga baharu dan kenderaan pintar,” katanya dalam majlis pelancaran dua model kenderaan penumpang pertamanya bagi pasaran Malaysia iaituX55 dan BJ40 Plus. Gabungan itu menghasilkan 188 PS dan tork 305 Nm dan Trenkuasa X55 diiktiraf Anugerah 10 Trenkuasa Terbaik di China dengan penggunaan bahan api WLTC hanya 7.18 L/100 kilometer.
