After their success, they decided to open a 2,800-square-foot location with indoor seating, a large family patio, and a drive-through. All of these are open from 10 a.m. to 2 a.m. Sunday through Thursday and from 10 a.m. to 3 a.m. Fridays and Saturdays. “Bad Chicken is not only a fast and easy option but also a neighborhood restaurant with housemade items and a lot of care put into the menu,” Shuey said in a press release.Bad Chicken offers fresh, hand-trimmed, hand-battered chicken and more than 20 homemade sauces, including peanut butter and jelly, classic Buffalo, Sweet Thai, Honey Habanero, and Texas Dust dry rub.
In addition to fresh, never frozen chicken wings and nuggets, Bad Chicken also has hamburgers and salads on its menu. The wings are smoked and then tossed in any of the sauces or dry rubs. You can get an order of 5, 10, 20 or 40 pieces. If you prefer nuggets, you can order 6, 10 or 12 pieces with the same sauce options.
The restaurant also has other options, like the Bomb Bowl, which is chicken on top of your choice of curly fries, sweet potato fries, or mac and cheese and topped with one Bomb Sauce. The Bomb Bowl options include Sweet Mama, tossed in sweet Thai and drizzled with sriracha mayo; Buffalo Bomb, tossed in Buffalo sauce and drizzled with ranch; Honey Bang, tossed in honey habanero and drizzled with bang bang sauce; and PB&J, tossed in sweet pepper jelly and drizzled with peanut butter sauce.
