PETALING JAYA: A baby died during a flight from Kuala Lumpur to Perth on Monday (April 22) morning, reported Australia's ABC News.
The Western Australian Police confirmed the death of the baby although it said there was nothing to suggest of any suspicious circumstances surrounding the baby's death.When contacted, AirAsia confirmed there was a medical emergency involving an infant on board its Flight D7236.
The spokesman said that upon arrival at the airport, the aircraft was met by a team of medical specialists and relevant authorities, including the West Australian Police.
