NSTnation Four people – including a baby – were killed in a two-vehicle collision at Km448 of the North South Expressway (NSE) near Sungai Buloh

The deceased have been identified as Asiah Mat, 74; her son Ruzi Osman, 54; Ruzi’s daughter-in-law Ain Fazira Mohd Yazid, 25; and Ain Fazira’s daughter, Nur Tiara Arisha Mohamad Taslim, 9 months.

Ain Fazira’s husband, Mohamad Taslim Jamsari, 31, was injured in the accident, which occurred just after midnight. The crash involved a Proton Satria – in which all the victims were passengers – and a Mitsubishi ASX. Both vehicles were north-bound. It is learnt that the Satria suddenly broke down and came to a stop on the highway. The ASX, which had been travelling behind the car, was unable to stop in time and slammed into the stationary vehicle.“Asiah and Ain Fazira died at the scene, while Ruzi and the baby died while being treated at the Sungai Buloh Hospital,” said Sungai Buloh police chief Superintendent Shafa’aton Abu Bakar.
