I reduced the sugar and it turned out so good. My family said it was moist and loved it. For the cream cheese frosting I just added sugar to taste. My cakes usually turn out questionable, but this recipe was great.
I also would add more walnuts for taste&texture, and little bit more of the spices because the taste is slightly bland. I'm giving it three stars because it's edible and I've only made it once so I might have made some mistakes, but I've made better carrot cakes than this one.I just made this cake as a practice run for my partner’s birthday coming up.
