PETALING JAYA: Deputy PKR Youth chief Hilman Idham will be grilled by the police over the sex scandal video allegedly implicating Economic Affairs Minister Datuk Seri Mohamed Azmin Ali and Haziq Abdullah Abdul Aziz, 27.
“This is in connection with the police report I lodged in response to Haziq Abdullah Abdul Aziz’s fake report,” he told The Star on June 15 .
Last Friday , Hilman lodged a police report at the Putrajaya district police headquarters, claiming that Haziq made a false report, which he said was criminal accusation.Hilman, who’s also Azmin’t political secretary, admitted that he met Haziq at the Zst Restaurant at Marriot Putrajaya on June 11 before the videos were leaked, but declined to reveal details of the meeting.
On Friday , Bukit Aman CID director Comm Datuk Huzir Mohamed confirmed that Haziq had been arrested at the international departure hall of the KLIA, where he was scheduled to fly to Manila, the Phillipines. Haziq, who’s at the Kuala Lumpur Hospital for a medical examination, is expected to be released on bail later on Saturday .
He is being investigated under four charges, which includes Section 292 , 504 and 377B of the Penal Code, as well as Section 233 Multimedia and Communication Act 1998
