KUALA LUMPUR, May 26 — The management of local television station Awesome TV is taking issues of unreceived payments brought up by actor Azrel Ismail and actress Norlia Ghani seriously.
Awesome TV’s management via a statement said that Norlia and Azrel who had brought up the issue of unpaid salaries to the media and on their social media had indirectly tarnished the station’s image and reputation. The station is now advising Norlia and Azrel to apologise to them for tainting the company’s good name.“The payment responsibility falls to the production house which was appointed by us to produce the drama.”
Awesome TV advised their artistes to check their contracts before making any allegations while also asking social media users to refrain from making one-sided speculations.that he still hasn’treceived his payment amounting to RM20,000 after acting in an 18-episode drama series which has been aired by the station.drama series are still waiting for their full payments with only the first and second payments received already.
