Local avocado company and ad agency release Super Bowl commercial teaser

A marketer’s dream is to put its company in front of more than 200 million viewers. This year, for a 30-second spot the price tag is a record $7 million, according to AdAge. The company is banking on at-home viewers to have a bowl of guacamole in front of them. Alvaro Luque, AFM President and CEO, said that Americans eat more avocados during the game than any other day of the year.It’s the first time Bryan Buckley, a longtime Big Game director, has partnered with Avocados from Mexico to create this year’s spot. Buckley has led the production of more than 70 Super Bowl commercials.
The avocado company was the first produce brand to advertise at the Big Game when it made its debut in 2015. Since then, its ad campaigns have earned dozens of accolades.
