San Diego County will have the distinct feel of autumn on Monday and Tuesday with a bit of marine layer at the coast, a light sea breeze, and daytime highs that are at seasonal levels.
But then a high pressure system will arrive and modestly lift daytime highs into the weekend, ahead of a low pressure system that will cool things off early next week, says the National Weather Service. The daytime high in San Diego will hit 76 on Monday, 77 on Tuesday, 78 on Wednesday, 79 on Thursday, and 82 on Friday. The seasonal average is 76. Patchy fog is likely at the coast on Monday and Tuesday evenings, but it’s not likely to be thick enough to interfere with air traffic at San Diego International Airport.The daytime high in Escondido will be 81 on Monday, 85 on Tuesday, 84 on Wednesday, 79 on Thursday, and 89 on Friday.
