Sky News Contributor Joe Hildebrand says a lot of the Australians who condemned Barry Humphries are those who “clearly don’t get” his humour as they are the ones the comedian is mirroring in his sketches.
“A lot of the people who are now condemning Barry Humphries … are actually the same sort of self-hating Australians, the sort of
cultural cringe Australians who think we’re all just bunch of … racist homophobes,” Mr Hildebrand told Sky News host Sharri Markson.
