"While in hospital, it was discovered that Renee also had inoperable lung cancer," the statement read."Naturally we are all utterly devastated." Starting her career in the 1970s, Renee Geyer worked with a number of bands before branching out as a solo artist. In 2017, she received a good behaviour bond over a 2015 incident where she verbally abused a hotel receptionist.
