The Motley Fool Chief Investment Officer Scott Phillips says Australia should “diversify” the energy sector as the nuclear debate continues with Bill Gates labelling the ban politically motivated.

“This is a really tough one – for the most part the political parties are following the public opinion,” Mr Phillips told Sky News Australia. “His point more broadly is … energy policy and frankly, the physics of energy and the safety and efficiency of nuclear energy is well worth doing despite some of that political drama.”
