Australia's Department of Infrastructure, Transport, Regional Development Communications and the Arts has released its monthly data on flight departures, arrivals and cancellations, with a surprise winner for the most prompt airline.\n\nClick through to see the full list.

For all VA flights – that is, across Virgin Australia and Regional – the respective rates were 67.4 and 4.9 per cent.Budget carrier Jetstar was able to get 71.7 per cent of its flights to land on time.
