The Australian air force will deploy one of its most sophisticated surveillance planes, as well as up to 100 defence personnel, as it steps up its military support of Ukraine.

Mr Albanese confirmed the Royal Australian Air Force Wedgetail E-7A surveillance plane will help protect key logistics hubs in Germany for six months from October, following talks with chancellor Olaf Scholz.
