LONDON (Reuters) - Volvo Cars has invested in UK startup Breathe Battery Technologies and will use its battery software to cut charging time for its next generation of electric vehicles by 30%, the two companies said on Tuesday.

A joint statement by Australia and Asean called for “rules-based” order in the Indo Pacific, as Beijing looks to increase its presence in the South China Sea. Beijing claims almost the entire South China Sea, a conduit for more than US$3 trillion worth of ship-borne commerce each year, and the area is a major source of tension with the Philippines.
