Aussie mining conglomerate makes bid for troubled Lynas

AUSTRALIAN mining conglomerate Wesfarmers has made a A$1.5 billion offer for troubled rare earth miner Lynas, which has seen its shares drop sharply since December. Wesfarmers said it was offering A$2.25 a share through a scheme of arrangement, at a 44.7% premium to Lynas’s A$1.55 a share close yesterday,Effective July 2018, access to full reports will only be available with a subscription.
