Hours before two teenage girls were found dead in a taxi outside an Irving hotel, their aunt urged them to flee from their father, she testified on the first day of the 65-year-old’s capital murder trial.

Amina and Sarah were honor students and athletes at Lewisville High School. They aspired to become doctors, their aunt Connie Moggio testified. Moggio sobbed as photos of the girls smiling in their school pictures were displayed in the courtroom.Said is charged with capital murder.
