Atty. Gen. William P. Barr plans on Sunday to send Congress what he considers the “principal conclusions” from the Russia investigation led by special counsel Robert S. Mueller III, according to a person familiar with his plans.

Special counsel Robert S. Mueller III walks with his wife, Ann, on Sunday after leaving church services near the White House.

Trump, who spent the weekend at his Mar-a-Lago resort in Florida, has been in the dark as well. A spokesman said Sunday morning that the White House has not been briefed on Mueller’s findings. Rep. Doug Collins of Georgia, the top Republican on the panel, accused Democrats of targeting Trump with a “fishing expedition.”Barr had told the leaders of the House and Senate judiciary committees on Friday that he is “committed to as much transparency as possible” and would consult with Deputy Atty. Gen. Rod Rosenstein and Mueller"to determine what other information from the report can be released to Congress and the public consistent with the law.
