Attackers could use Apple’s “Find My” network to steal keylogged passwords

Malicious actors can exploit Apple’s “Find My” network to transmit information captured by keyloggers installed in keyboards, Heise Online

Positive Security researchers Fabian Bräunlein and his team carried out a proof of concept by integrating a keylogger with an ESP32 Bluetooth transmitter into a USB keyboard. If the message is appropriately formatted, the device will create a location report and upload it to the Find My network. The multiple location reports retrieved from the cloud can be decoded to recover the arbitrary data, which, in this instance, is the data captured by the keylogger.
