You could easily spend upwards of $500 on merch if you really wanted to, nearly enough to cover one floor ticket at face value. But I had a budget and was sticking to it.
Buying multiple pieces of merch seemed like it was the norm at the Thursday event. None of the people I chatted with bought just one thing. So are the merch items worth the price? Based on the steady stream of fans with shopping bags packed to the brims, it looks like most Swifties would say yes.
