Anthony Albanese has slammed the Greens for delaying a vote to establish Labor’s $10 billion housing fund – with the Prime Minister calling on them to “at least have the guts to vote against it”.

His comments came after the Greens and Coalition teamed up in the Senate to delay debate on the housing bill until mid-October.

The proposed fund would create 30,000 homes over five years however no vote will take place until after National Cabinet meets to discuss ways to tackle rising rent prices.
