Kuala Lumpur: Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim who became prime minister at age 75 last November, has assured Malaysians that he is fighting fit after turning 76 earlier this month.
In a pre-recorded interview with US broadcaster CNBC aired today, the Pakatan Harapan chairman said his doctors have given him a clean bill of health.“Thank God and Alhamdulillah, I'm in perfect health. We just had the last few months complete, you know, but prime ministers need to do a check-up at the heart centre, a clean bill of health and great for 76,” he said. “I'll pray for good health. But I think what's important is to focus on your work, save this country,” he added.
