Investment manager Janus Henderson will pay investors a US39¢ quarterly dividend, matching expectations and sitting in line with previous payouts.
It also delivered one of its best net flow quarters in three years. Net outflows of $US0.5 billion for the second quarter 2023, compared to $US7.8 billion in the second quarter of 2022, with sales staying broadly consistent but redemptions significantly falling. Second quarter operating income, when adjusted for one-time acquisition and transaction costs, was $US121.5 million compared to $US149.3 million for the same period in 2022. It was up slightly on Q1 2023’s adjusted costs of $US105.6 million.
“We are in the initial stages of executing our strategic plan, and early progress is tangible, as evidenced by delivering our two best net flow quarters in nearly three years,” he said.
