“I was trying to not get him out of his rhythm, but I was having a good time,” Nick said of what he was doing over at first base. “He saw me. We made eye contact. It was fun.” “First thing I saw was Breggy coming across the field and he was cheesing at me because he’s been begging me to throw a fastball to him today,” Phil said. “When we got 0-2, I saw him out at third base and he was smiling. I thought ‘I have to at least flash one here.’ But it was hard to keep it together. It was a really cool experience, but he won this one.”
