JUPITER, Fla. — Delayed due to visa issues in the Dominican Republic, Jose Siri arrived late at spring training earlier this week but still prepared to play on opening day.
Siri spent the winter working with Fernando Tatis Sr. on improving his free-swinging offensive approach. The two addressed Siri’s leg kick and some hand placement in hopes he can stay inside the strike zone and make better swing decisions.
