Astros shortstop Jeremy Peña missed his third straight game Wednesday but is expected to play in Thursday’s series finale against the Nationals.Astros shortstop Jeremy Peña was held out of the lineup for a third consecutive game Wednesday after he was sick Sunday.
Although Peña worked out with the team the last two days and said he did not feel sick, manager Dusty Baker said he was being cautious with the shortstop and planned to start Peña on Thursday in the series finale against the Nationals.
