Kota Kinabalu: Chief Minister Datuk Seri Hajiji Noor has assured that Sabah will ensure the National Digital Network Plan (Jendela) is fully implemented in the State.

“My instructions are clear. All local authorities and district offices must facilitate the projects under Jendela in the State so that they are implemented smoothly,” Hajiji told Communications and Digital Minister Fahmi Fadzil who paid a courtesy call on him at his office in Menara Kinabalu, here, Monday.Expediting implementation of the Jendela programme was among several matters they discussed, among them 100pc internet connectivity by the end of 2025.

This increased connectivity would help increase the number of Digital Economy Centres in Sabah from 118 to 200 and expedite the completion of tower and point of presence locations at schools, among others.
