ASICS partners with Tokyo Marathon 2023 READ MORE:
ASICS is one of the major sponsors of the Tokyo Marathon 2023 that happened last Sunday, March 5, 2023.
This year’s Tokyo Marathon symbolizes the past, present and the future of Tokyo. It starts from the front gate of the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building and ends at the Tokyo Station. This race covers different districts of Tokyo – from Shinjuku, Suidobashi, Kanda, Nihombashi, Asakusa Kaminarimon Gatena, Ryogoku, Monzen-nakacho, Ginza, Tamachi, Hiiya and Tokyo Station/Gyoko-dori Ave.
The ASICS Philippines sent local delegates to represent the country for the said Marathon. One of the delegates is Mary Joy Tabal, the first female Filipino marathon runner to qualify for the Olympics. She finished the 42KM race in 3 hours and 23 minutes. Another PH delegate is Jefferson Lo from Pinoy Fitness, he was able to finish the race in 5 hours and 13 minutes.
